Anatomy
of the Vagina
Men and women have an internal and external region of their
genitalia. The internal and external anatomy of the vagina –
the most interesting organ in the female body - is a theme of
the below article.
When you see the female genitalia the outermost part of it
is called the vulva. Usually they are covered by the pubic
hair. The pubic hair grows from the tissue called mons pubis.
Most women like to shave them, so you will be able to see the
outer lips. They really have a lip-like appearance and are
better known as Labia Majora.
The fatty tissue of
the outer lips covers and protects the vulva from the mons
pubis to the perineum.
A certain sexual female scent is produced here by sweat and
oil glands placed in the Labia Majora.
Under the Labia Majora or better to say next to them there is
another lips called the Labia Minora.
Most of people know them as inner lips. They protect the
clitoris, urethra and the vagina itself.
Under the Labia Minora there is a small part called the
clitoris. It is connected with the inner lips and is hidden by
the skin hood.
Such protection is not accidental, because the clitoris is
the most sensitive part of the female’s genitalia due to the
enormous amount of nerves located there.
While stimulated or touched the clitoris or the “clit” produce
sexual
pleasure which can be continued by the orgasm. Under the
clitoris you can find the urethra through which the urine
passes outside from the bladder.
The hymen or a sensitive membrane covers the opening of the
vagina. When it is torn it means that a woman is not a virgin
or she torn it by sport activities like horse riding, or by
dildos and vibrators. Also, some women do not have a hymen at
all. The opening itself is called perineum. From there babies
are getting born.
The internal part of the female’s genitalia is even more
interesting because it is in charge of reproduction. The
vaginal canal is the pass where you penis is making his way to
the cervix.
One of the most exiting features of the vaginal canal is
that it can expand depending on your penis size. Inside the
vagina there are the Bartholin’s and the hymen glands which
produce lubricant fluids to moisturize the vagina for better
sexual intercourse.
When the vaginal canal ends, there is the uterus or the womb
– a safe place where the fetus is located during all pregnancy.
Two fallopian tubes are attached to the uterus from the both
sides. In them the ova or egg gets fertilized by the sperm.
The fallopian tubes ends with the ovaries where the ovas are
produced. Also they are responsible for progesterone and
estrogen – the hormones which are in charge for menstruation,
baby growth and so on.
Does penis size matter?
